Critical raw material

Critical raw materials are materials that have high economic importance and are subject to supply risk, due to factors such as geographic concentration, economic or geopolitical limitations, low end-of-life recycling input rates or difficulties in substitution. Critical raw materials are those listed in Annex II, Section 1 in the Critical Raw Materials Acts (2023).
