Recordable work-related accident
A work-related accident is a discrete occurrence in the course of work which leads to physical or mental harm. Such an occurrence is recordable if it results in any of the following:
(a) death, more than three days of absence from work, restricted work or transfer to another job, medical treatment beyond first aid, or loss of consciousness; or
(b) significant injury or ill health diagnosed by a physician or other licensed healthcare professional, even if it does not result in death, more than three days of absence from work, restricted work or job transfer, medical treatment beyond first aid, or loss of consciousness.
